Our maternal grandfather, William Arthur Borthwick, the fourth son and namesake of Lieutenant-Colonel and Mrs. William Borthwick of Sale, East Gippsland, balancing lackadaisically on a roof whilst holidaying with the rest of his family in Norfolk, c. 1911.
